Big Sand Creek in Decatur and Jennings Counties is a beautiful tributary of the East Fork White River that traverses a limestone canyon for a portion of its course in Decatur County.  This is one of our 3 best wet weather kayak trips in Indiana.

Pathfinder Outfitters runs Sand Creek from March through June, and when water levels allow.   We are the only outfitter running Big Sand Creek.  Most trips are either guided (when we provide kayaks)  or shuttled for folks with their own kayaks.  This trip requires some experience and endurance.

This trip is only offered when the water levels are high enough, but not too high.   If you are interested in this trip, give us a call so we can help you plan this out.  You need to get on a text message list to be notifies when conditions are favorable to run the creek.

Please subscribe to our text message alerts to let you know when this trip will be offered so that you don’t miss out!
